Jairo Holguin, Lead Attorney

Jairo Holguin was born on the Caribbean island of the Dominican Republic. He moved to the United States in 2001 in search of the American dream. He attended high school at the Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics in New York City. He excelled in mathematics, languages, and the school’s chess club. Jairo went on to graduate from the State University of New York at Onondaga with a degree in Business Administration with honors. He was subsequently admitted to the prestigious University of Rochester, where he earned a degree in Political Science. After college, Jairo started his career in public service and became a high school mathematics teacher. After a few years in the classroom, Jairo went on to graduate from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, where he graduated with his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, in the top half of his class, as well as an advanced law degree, Master of Laws (LL.M.). Jairo brings significant experience to the law firm. Jairo has previously practiced as a criminal appellate law fellow during his time with the Criminal Appeals Division of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, he also trained with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Arizona and most recently worked for the City of Odessa, Texas where he served as a Prosecutor and Assistant City Attorney.
